Margaret Davenport joined the YouthForce NOLA team in November 2023. Through her role as the Communications Manager, she aims to tell the stories of YouthForce NOLA and all of its stakeholders through various outlets, including social media, newsletters, press releases, and more. In addition, she is the eyes and ears that ensure YouthForce NOLA continues to share their work clearly and consistently, both in their local community of New Orleans and as national experts on career-connected learning.

Margaret brings with her four years of nonprofit communications, project management, and event planning. Her writing skills span all formats, from scientific articles to published opinion pieces. She is motivated by her passion for creating thoughtful and intentional media, social justice-oriented work, and her love for Louisiana. Originally from Virginia, Margaret graduated from Tulane University and worked in Florida and Denver, before moving back home to New Orleans. In her free time, you can find Margaret reading public library books, writing personal newsletters to friends, making bad art, and laughing loudly.
