Removing Barriers and Increasing Funding for Career-Connected Learning
YouthForce NOLA advocates for and manages policies and systems that enable career-connected learning. We prioritize and address the most pressing barriers and the greatest opportunities identified by our network of school, community, and business partners as well as the youth and families we support. This includes challenges that prevent young people from accessing — and practitioners and stakeholders from delivering — a system of career-connected learning experiences in New Orleans.
Partnering with Policymakers for Effective Youth and Community Initiatives
We collaborate with elected officials, government agencies, and partners at the local, state, and federal levels to bring together research, best practices, and other insights from the field to inform legislative and regulatory policy. Ultimately, we aim to ensure resources are directed toward strategies and initiatives that yield the greatest results for our young people and local community.
